DESCRIPTION:<p>The 32nd Annual Cherokee County Mother's Day Powwow &amp; Indian Festival! </p><p>May 13-14, 2023 at Boling Park in Canton, GA<br>Saturday 10am - 7pm&nbsp; Sunday 11am -6pm</p><p >This North Georgia tradition features activities for all audiences, including a Native American dance competition; hoop dancer and Aztec dancers; tipis, and living Indian village; Cree and Creek encampments; primitive skills and wildlife displays; Native American vendors; Save the Horses rescue group; bungee jump, train rides, and other activities for children; Mother’s Day Honor Dance and much more. Grand entry will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.<br>Emcee: Ray Silva; Host Drum: Red Boys; Arena Director: Charles Mesteth; Head Judge: Anthony Lett.&nbsp;<br>Food vendors will provide food throughout the weekend and will include Native American cuisine such as buffalo burgers, gator tail, roasted corn, Indian frybread, Indian tacos and other dishes. There will also be Americana dishes as well.&nbsp;<br>Thunder Run &amp; Wolfe Walk 5k&nbsp; Saturday, May 13th 8am&nbsp;</p><p>The festival will take place rain or shine. Hours- Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the gate.
